I was born on 14th January 1973 in India,
I attended some of the
prestigious institutes in India. I graduated with a B.S in computer science from
Regional Engineering College
(RECW), Warangal (now known as National Institiute of Technology). Located in the historical city of Warangal, in the state of
Andhra Pradesh, India, RECW is the first among 17 RECs started to promote
technical excellence in an atmosphere of cultural and ethinic diversity.
RECW offers quality technical education and is ranked among the top Engineering
institutions in India. Established in 1959, it is jointly funded by the Govt. of
India and the state of Andhra Pradesh.
Came to USA in August 1994 and pursued M.S. in Computer Science from Purdue University specializing in inter-networking under the guidance of Prof. Douglas Comer.
After graduation in May 1996, joined as a software development engineer in FORE Systems, a Pittsburgh based networking startup. In May 1999, FORE Systems was acquired by Marconi PLC. Marconi plc is a global communications and IT company with around 49,000 employees worldwide and sales in over 100 countries. It supplies advanced communications solutions and the key technologies and services for the Internet. Marconi plc is listed on the London Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq under the symbol MONI. The headquarters of Marconi Communications is in Pittsburgh.
Currently, I work full-time as a software development manager for Marconi Communications.
I am also enrolled in the part-time MBA at Katz graduate school of business, University of Pittsburgh and I love the program.
